IRIB to broadcast Fajr award-winning film ‘Midday Adventures’

Iran IRIB is slated to air award-winning movie ‘Midday Adventures’.

Directed by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian, the film will be broadcast on Channel 4 of Iran’s television on Thursday.

‘Midday Adventures’ is a political drama that portrays the terrorist atrocity of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Iran during the 1980s.

“Being stranded and puzzled in volatile Tehran neighborhoods, in the winding streets, alleyways and inside homes; is there an end in sight to such hunt?” the film’s synopsis reads.

‘Midday Adventures’ has bagged four Simorgh awards -- namely, Best Film, the Audience Choice, Best Scenic and Costume Designer and Best Film with National View.

The movie features Mehrdad Seddiqian, Mehdi Pakdel, Ahmad Mehranfar, Hadi Hejazifar, Mehdi Zaminpardaz, Mahya Dehqani, Linda Kiani, Hossein Mehri, and Javad Ezzati.
